Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for many years. He is most famous for his roles played in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". His interest in acting began in his early college days. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in TV and film, his roles on the small screen were what earned him fame. He has been able to easily play characters who are from both sides of law to grab an audience's focus. The first show he worked on was a television serial, and later, he played a detective for the NYPD. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His signature piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help the actor look gorgeous. They've assisted in portray tough characters in a charming manner. The year 2006 was the last time he was featured on People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
